This mix was created as a reflection of a sliver of Michael Jackson's experience on this planet. Some what I saw of him... some what the media portrayed. In my eyes... from day one, he filtered out the _______ that makes up our society... our culture... good, bad and everything in between... and managed to create incredible art throughout his life. He spoke on much through his music and inspired countless numbers of people. Worldwide. What's changed? That's for each of us to interpret. I feel for the guy. It seemed like he simply truly wished for the world to be a better place. Certain things were focused on in his life and from my perspective, he fell apart and pulled himself together a plethora of times. I don't blame him for the darkness that we were all led to see. Who knows where he actually took things. It's clear that the effect of the world coming down on him, whether positive or negative... took its toll. He was an incredible artist... and like so many... he left us too soon on a move towards the unknown. My heart beats heavy thinking what he must have gone through. Michael, even though your throne may appear vacant, it will always be held by what you've left us. There's few other pop artists I'd rather listen to. Thank you and safe travels.
